REVISTA CIENTIFICA

The Revista Científica is a body of scientific publications of the Faculty of Veterinary Science of the University of Zulia (LUZ), Maracaibo, Zulia State, Venezuela, founded by teachers, José Faria, Manuel Alvarado Morillo and Mario Pérez Barrientos, is edited and published bimonthly, under the auspices of the Council of Scientific-Humanistic and Technological Development of LIGHT (COUNTS).

 

Published since 1991, periodically, annual volume and numbers was the continuation of the former Veterinary magazine, just Faculty of Cs. Veterinarias- LIGHT. Its abbreviated title to be used in bibliographies, footnotes and bibliographical references and legends, is Rev. scientif. FCV-LUZ.

 

MISSION
Scientific Journal of the Faculty of Veterinary Science of the University of Zulia is an academic organization of high seriousness, responsibility and integrity dedicated to publishing the results of original research of national and international authors who made significant contributions in the field of Veterinary Science and related to this, in tropical and subtropical level and temperate areas with tropical applicability.

 

 

VISION
Become national and international reference in the generation, dissemination and transfer of knowledge of excellent academic quality and high media visibility bibliographic reference that is attractive to scientific researchers to discuss and analyze their results and research developments and post them to productive and social scientific community related to veterinary science.

 

 

OBJECTIVES
a) Publish the research conducted by faculty members and research of the Faculty of Veterinary Science of the University of Zulia.
b) Publish the research conducted by national and foreign authors in the field of veterinary science and related to it.
c) Be used for linkage to the scientific universe through the exchange.
d) Allow the promotion of Animal Production centers, clinics, veterinary hospitals, businesses and dedicated to providing materials agricultural interest establishments.
e) Disseminate information concerning scientific events such as conferences, seminars, meetings, national and international symposia.
